Situated 40km west of Hastings on the North Island\u2019s East Coast, the 280ha property is flat and steep with very few rolling plains. They stand at 365m altitude and have an average rainfall of 1100mm per year.<\/p><p>Over the past decade, the Stewart\u2019s have been fortunate to have had the pick of the surplus yearling heifers at Atahua Angus. These heifers, along with their own replacements have seen Whenuapapa\u2019s operation grow to a herd of 160 registered Angus cows, their progeny and a small commercial beef cattle herd.<\/p><p>Whenuapapa is very much a family affair. Andrew in partnership with Andrew\u2019s parents and their two teenage daughters, Libby and Kate are heavily involved in farm life.
